Happy 1st Blog Birthday and A New Contest!

Can you believe it has been one year today since our very first blog post?!? Hopefully this blog has been as useful of a tool to many parents and families as it has been for us. We have learned so much from the many topics we have had the opportunity to post about! This is a reason to celebrate! So, to commemorate our one year anniversary in the "blogging world", we would like to announce our next contest! Leave a comment telling us what you would like to see on our blog over the next year. Anyone who comments will automatically be entered in the drawing to win a $50 Target gift card! Leave your comments by Thursday, September 16th....that gives you an entire month to think of something great! The winner will be announced on Friday, September 17th. Good luck to those who enter, and thank you to everyone for ONE YEAR of support!

Love your blog! It's so nice to have a pediatric office care to continue to put out great info! For the next year I'd like to see more of the stuff you did since you started! My favorite was the medicine dosage change and at the bottom of the document it said not to share with caregivers. That seemed strange!! Thanks for posting it anyway!!

I love this blog! Maybe you could show more of what the dr's and nurses like to do when they're not taking care of our kids! Its always fun to see stuff like that! Otherwise keep up the good blogging :)

I appreciate your blog for the many bits of advice you give for each season. Would love to see more of that as well as more behavioral issues and links to interesting studies being conducted or published.

I love your blog and the office. I would love to see ideas for exercise and creative kid-friendly recipes (age range for each of these could vary with posts). Thanks!

Love the blog too! I like the idea of snacks/meals that could be fun for toddlers. And, the idea of showing more about the pediatricians. Basically, I agree with all of the previous comments :)

I would like to continue to see updates on what type of illnesses you are seeing, especially with the winter months coming up. I also like getting to know the physicians and staff better. Contests are always good, as well! :)

We love Dr. OMara! Thanks to the rest of the staff we always get in at the last minute when one of the kids is sick. Thank you for being so helpful!

Today I brought all three of my kids in for wellness visits, and all three of them needed vaccinations. I'd like a post about what to possibly expect the rest of the day after they've had their shots... and what, if anything, we can do to help them through the rest of the day. I know every kid is different, but all three of my kids just crash after shots... they take the best naps on immunization days!!!

PS: I love Target. Please oh please I hope I win!!!

I would like healthy recipes and snack ideas. I would also like to know what sicknesses are being seen a lot in the office so that if I know strep throat is prevelant right now and my daughter comes home with a sore throat, maybe we should make an appointment to get tested and get the antibiotics going sooner.

I love seeing updates on the blog! It would be great to have quick access to the Willowcreek charts in the sidebar (like Tylenol/Ibuprofin dosages).

I love the blog and the printable forms and questionnaires. I would love to see basic CPR and emergency information and maybe even a quick reference sheet that could be printed and kept handy in case I ever need to use it. Also, anything to help get my picky kids to eat well!
